The North West Kidney Network (NWKN) covers five NHS trusts that are responsible for providing adult nephrology services. Dialysis services are provided by these five Trusts. Each Trust operates hub and satellite model of care. Some of the satellite units are supported by private third party providers.

- Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
- Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
- Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
- Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
The region has two NHS trusts that are responsible for providing nephrology paediatric services.
- Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust
- Royal Manchester Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
The region has two kidney transplant centres
- Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
- Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
The North West Kidney Network has a contractual agreement with the NHS North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS), who provide analytical and business intelligence support for all core programmes within the network's portfolio.
Main roles are:-
- To provide robust data sources for the following workstreams
- Gap analysis for any information that is not readily available
- Avoid duplication of work with national colleagues
- Understand any relevant data sets available to NWKN and the quality of those data sets
- Develop a reporting suite based on identified key workstreams and available datasets
- Ad hoc analysis as and when required.
